I started reviewing office chairs after burning $4,000 of my own money trying to fix chronic lower back pain from ten-hour work days. The Herman Miller Aeron solved my problem in two weeks, but finding it was absurdly difficult. Every review site was either pushing sponsored picks or written by someone who had never sat in the chairs.
So I built Office Chair Judge. Since 2017 I have tested more than 50 chairs and standing desks, tracked manufacturer spec sheets against real user reports, and read tens of thousands of verified Amazon reviews. I became a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) in 2021 to ground my reviews in peer-reviewed research rather than folk wisdom.
I do not accept free products from manufacturers. I do not run sponsored content. Office Chair Judge earns through Amazon affiliate links, but rankings are based entirely on testing and research. When a product has a flaw, I name it. When a cheap chair beats a premium one for a specific use case, that is what I recommend.
